Patient Navigators
Patient navigators are Asian Americans who volunteer to assist members of their community in navigating the intricacies of american health care system. They are trained in medical insurance, physician assignment, laboratory assistance, and follow up appointments. Navigators come from each of the many Asian ethnic communities and speak the language, know the culture, and are actively involved in their respective communities.
